Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente la noticia de que en la escombrera de la térmica de As Pontes se han establecido animales que están en peligro de extinción en Galicia, como los gatos monteses y las nutrias. En dicho artículo se comenta que Endesa podría vender dicho terreno para hacer un coto de caza. ¿Es que acaso no tenemos suficientes cotos de caza? hasta en la mayor parte de los parques naturales se puede cazar (Xurés, Fragas do Eume...)!!!!! Es realmente penoso que hasta en los lugares que deberían ser santuarios naturales se pueda cazar, dado qu aunque en teoría no se pueden cazar especies protegidas, todos sabemos que los cazadores son unos insconcientes y disparan a todo lo que se mueva. La Consellería de medio ambiente debería tomar cartas en el asunto para evitar que esto ocurra.
